The hotel is in a unique former cinema location with fun film-related flourishes, right next to the sidewalk and really close to the lively bars in central Akureyri. It's also conveniently close to the town center. The hotel offers a comfortable stay with some exciting surrounding areas and cozy vibes but might lack some modern amenities.

I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The location is perfect, being in a former cinema with lots of film-related flourishes, and so close to the center of Akureyri with bars around. The rooms are comfortable, and the service was top-notch with a welcome drink. The dining experience, especially the mouth-watering Hungarian beef stew, was a highlight. The facilities were great, making my stay even more enjoyable.
